We drive to the idyllic village of Saksun, which lies picturesquely bound in a small fjord with high mountains on both sides. Continue on to the village of Tjørnuvík, on route we stop at the waterfall Fossá. From Tjørnuvík you can see the impressive rock formations the Giant and the Witch. Before reaching Gjógv we will have a view of the highest mountain in the Faroe Islands, Slættaratindur (882 m). In Gjógv we see the natural harbour which the village is named after.
