FRIDAY: Arrival to the Faroe Islands. The village of Gásadalur and impressive vantage points.
Direct flight to Vágar Airport in the Faroe Islands. Upon arrival pick up rental car.
Before leaving the island of Vágoy we suggest a visit to the small village of Gásadalur. In Gásadalur you can walk on the marked nature trail and enjoy the impressive view over Tindhólmur, and see the beautiful waterfall.
Leave Vágoy via the sub-sea to tunnel to Streymoy and drive along the coast, through colourful villages and crossing the bridge to the island of Eysturoy.
Spend the night on Eysturoy.
SATURDAY: Scenic Gjógv and afternoon coffee in a Faroese home with storytelling.
Drive towards the village of Eiði as you take the panoramic route to Gjógv. On route you will see the rock formations, Giant and the Witch and the highest mountain, Slættaratindur at 882m.
Take time to enjoy Gjógv, known for its natural harbour, and a must see when visiting the Faroe Islands. Walk around in the magnificent nature and relax on Crown Princess Mary´s bench with breath taking views of the nearby islands.
In the afternoon, visit a private home, enjoy a coffee and a chat with your host. Spend the night on Eysturoy.

SUNDAY: Explore the capital Tórshavn and visit the cultural centre, Kirkjubøur.
Check out from accommodation and drive to the capital, Tórshavn.
After check inn explore the old part of Tórshavn, Reyn and Tinganes. When you enter the old town you will find yourself in a confusion of lanes and narrow passages, steps and rocks and tiny black-tarred houses – a genuine town from the middle Ages where people still live today. This area not only unique in the Faroes but in the world.
Visit the village of Kirkjubøur which is the Faroe Islands’ historical and cultural centre. The picturesque old farm is home to a family who for 17 generations have run the farmstead and ecclesiastic site. See the unfinished Magnus Cathedral and the small medieval church of St.Olav.
The evening is at your own leisure. You will find various restaurants and cafés where you can have excellent food.
Spend the night in Tórshavn.
MONDAY: Departure from the Faroe Islands.
Check out from accommodation. Drive to Vágar Airport and return the rental car. Departure with flight from the Faroe Islands.
